Everyone is unique. Understanding & embracing your uniqueness is the key to success. Stop trying to be someone or something you are not and finally allow yourself to be yourself. Yes, we want to continue to improve but we do not want to take that as a changing ourselves role. The world needs more unique people in this world to bring about lasting change. Investing in yourself is the key to having the life you dream of!
Not sure what you should be doing or who you are? I have a little visualization exercise that can help.
This will require you to find a quiet place where you will have no interruptions. You’ll need at least 30 minutes to complete this activity.
Once you are comfortable, go ahead and close your eyes. Go to someplace you feel at peace. It could be the beach, the forest, a mountain, on a plane, wherever you feel calm & at peace.
Once you are visualizing this place start to think about your ideal life. Think about where you are living, what is the location like? Are you at the same house or a new house? Are the surroundings the same or different? Who is with you? What are you doing? Think about your work. Where do you go each day? Do you work from home? Who do you see in your professional life? What are you doing?
Keep asking yourself questions and really get into feeling it all. What’s the temperature like? Who is around you? What makes you smile?
Sit with that for awhile and just experience it all. Take in your surroundings and smile knowing that you are where you are supposed to be doing what you are meant to do.
Thank yourself for taking you on this journey into your future. Now open your eyes and take a few minutes to write down what you saw. What was it like? How did you feel? Who were you with? What were you doing for work? For fun? Where did you live? And on and on. Write as many details as you can and really add in your feelings as well. This will help you get clear on what you really want to be doing.
